After replaceing the developer you have to clear the counter by going into service mode for techs and clear the total count for the developer to do this you need the service manual.

The machine i have is KONICA MINOLTA DI251OF.The light for the drum unit is on even after the drum been change. How can i get the light to turnoff

Was the developer also changed? Because who ever change the drum did it wrong. The first thing you do before you remove the old drum is cleared the drum counter, seems that was not done now the copier thinks the new drum is old and is applying the required voltages for a old drum even though the drum is new will have image problems and codes soon. Recommend you get a new drum, cleaning blade, and developer and replace them all their are normally done at the same time, because in a few week the developer will the go and so drum unit will show up a again. make sure you clear the counters first then install the parts and make sure you run the required F8 in service mode. Utility/Counter, Details then. stop00 stop01 for service mode. Under Function for F8 and counter for clearing developer drum image section which should be done after every forth drum the developer unit that hoses the drum and developer.

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

I have an image runner 3220. The copies comes out with the black print looking faded and brownish. Can adjustments be made? If so, how? Or developer changed? How again? Thanks, Paul

How many copies do You have? ( press 123 button )
If You have over 150 000 copies, probably you need to change the Bk developer unit. It can't be changed only the developer, but the whole unit.

This is quite expensive copier for maintenance. If the time comes for Bk developer unit it means that you will soon have to replace Y, C and M developer unit. Also when did you last time replaced the drum unit?

Be sure to post back the copy counter, for detailed instrunctions...

Regarding color adjustment, before that you need to clean the copy optics ( glass beneath and cis sensor ), then in user mode ( asterix key ) under copy settings find color adjustment and perform it.
It's like 5 sheets, beeing printed one by one and which you need to scann over copy glass, but in most cases it doesn't helps...

If You want service manual you can write on

It's asking me to change the developer unit! What is this?

The developer unit is the part that is supposed to distribute the toner to the particular drum or photoconductor. a broken developer causes a faint or white line or even band in the concerned color. This is usually a difficult part to replace and the job is mostly very dirty. i advise contacting a technician.

Sharp-MX2700N Maintenance Code VK

VK = 100,000 pages printed on the developer counter or 715,000 revolutions of the developer unit (as mixing can occur even when pages are not being printed). Developer can break down over time and or the seals can be damaged - so service by a technician is indicated. If maintenance was recently performed and the developer replaced then the counter needs to be reset.

How do i set aficio 1035 to factory default

SC352 Indicates ID Sensor/Pattern edge detect Error 3. If its a color machine, then it's a Magenta TD ensor failure.

Usually If you need to change the developer roller you should change the developer as well. Once that is done, then you go into service mode and calibrate the developer and initialize the TD sensor.

Did you change the developer?
