Question about Samsung SGH-x426
I bought my samsung star a month ago, didn't have any problems. Today I was edditing a picture, wanted it to save (on a different name), he told me he was saving and then he went off and started up again. But he keeps starting up over and over. Sometimes it gets till I have to unlock it, but after 2 seconds it goes off and starts up again. I've taken my battery several times out, even my sim. I tried pushing some buttons, to connect it to the computer both don't help a thing. It keeps starting up again and again. Please help.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Solved my own problem. It was dead easy - so long as you own a Mac (sorry PC users). Just used a free application called iSync, that comes with all macs (its in the apps folder). Synched all my contacts with the D600 easily.
Then downloaded a free script to sync my new Nokia 6301 with iSync as well. Bingo - all contacts copied. Plus - I can now regularly sync my phone with my address book, which is kept on my mac.
6301 script from here: http://www.james-lloyd.com/scripts/nokia-series-40-isync-plugin/

Before you go and try and update the software on the phone it is always best to try the easiest soloution first.
The problem may just simply be a power management problem so try this.
1. On the main screen at the bottom task bar you should see phone on the left and main menu on the right. Now click main menu.
2. Now click settings
3. Now you see 3 tabs at the bottom. Personal, System and connections. Press the system tab.
4. On the new screen scroll down to the bottom and you should see power with a battery icon. Click it.
5. Now on this screen you see another 3 tabs at the bottom (there are actual 7 which are obtain through scroll), battery, battery power and external power. Click battery power.
6. On this screen you will see that it can be set to turn of if not used after so many minutes so changing these settings may solve your problem.
I hope this is useful??

The issue of touc screen freezing in he M880 is mostly due to fault in the contact. The screen contact is just below the volumen control buttons on the right. I inserted a fingre nain where the volume control is and pulled up the screena wee bit. near the volume up botton, I then inserted the tip of a tooth pick. It worked and the touch sensitivity is just as new :)
