When i want to save documents on my Verbati 4GB store & Go i get a message that the memory stick is write protected or in use.

how do i resolve this problem

Some memory sticks have a tiny switch to write protect them.

Make sure yours doesnt have that or if it does then change it over and try that.

try restarting machine with stick in so any programs using it will be shut down, if this doesn't help please run cmd from run menu, then type cd /D <letter the flash has assigned> then chkdsk /r if asks to unmount say yes, if there will be no errors found check that access attirbutes haven't been accidentally changed
