Volume diminishing creative SB live with 5.1 speakers. (4speakers,1 sub woofer). In the past few weeks  the volume seems to not be as loud as it once was. I now have the dial on speaker all the way up. used to really be loud and could not have volume that high. checked all connections and nothing is muted in volume control. Nothing has ever been changed since getting computer 5 years ago. It just does not have the volume it used to. any suggestions. thanks

Try other speakers with the card.
Most speakers have an amplifier built-in them. Most of the time they go slowly, which may be the case.

How do I connect the speakers to a sb-wa350 subwoffer

Usually, it's the "stereo-audio-output" from your amplifier that goes to the sub-woofer, and then outputs from the sub-woofer to the left/right speakers. Or, if your amplifier has a separate output labelled "sub-out", then your connect your sub-woofer to that mono-channel output.

I have a MTS surround sound system and when i put the volume up the woofer turns off. whats wrong with it? and how can i fix that

Seems you are over driving the unit and causing it to overheat and the protective circuits are kicking in. U need a more powerful system to play at the volumes you want.

Creative Inspire 5200 system won't work

Hi. Check your speaker system with a different audio device like iPod or any MP3 Player using the same jacks. If the speaker system gives out sounds then nothing is wrong with it... if no sounds come out, then you know what I mean...

Try to replace the speaker of your sub-woofer... maybe that can fix it!

Alesis M1 active 620 woofer problem

There clearly is a fault in the sub's amp section. It's probably the main part that does most of the work. It will need to be replaced.

Is this connecting to a sound blaster audigy 2 zs or xfi soundcard? or a motherboard onboard soundcard/ aftermarket Other than creative?

If connected to the creative card odds are the wire is bad. get a new one

If connected to a generic the wires for the speakers are proprietary and you have to go get 3.5 to 3.5 stereo cables to hook it up

HTS 6500/37 sub woofer

the reciever should have a "subwoofer level" setting, or a "bass level control" If you cannot find this then try to place the "sub-woofer" away from walls and elevate it from the floor. This will reduce it's loudness/ intensity at annoying frequencies...

Good Luck

No sound no nothing !

make sure :
1- the the speakers are connected to the sub woofer correctly
2- the sound driver is installed on your computer ( you can check that from Device Manager )
3- that you connected the sub woofer jack to the correct jack of your computer
4- the volume parameter is set to highest in your computer

if nothing works out then i suggest connecting the speakers to another device ( like ipod or mp3 player )

if either this won't work then the speakers are obviously corrupted :)

Sure, you can use transition between SB-WA920 system cable with other output. So, you use them as speaker. That's it.
