I DROPPED MY CAMERA, RESULTING IN THE LENS NOT CLOSING AND NOT WORKING - IS THIS DIY FIXABLE?

Probably not. You may need a new lens. If you need some good used parts for your fx9 you may want to contact a guy in South Carolina who has lots of parts for all the Panasonic Cameras at reasonable prices. I think his email is gerald.ray@aa-ark.com

No. The DMC-FX9 works with SD cards, not with SDHC cards.

there is not a big problem if the lens are coming out but not enough..the mechanism is blocked i think will cost about 25$ or something like that

Lumix lens retracts and extends


Belikes, any external object is trapped in between your Lens Motor and Camera Body. You should consult Authorized Service Personnel to handle this trouble.

Lumix® Digital Cameras with MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer technology have a built-in gyrosensor that detects any hand movement and relays a signal to a tiny microcomputer inside the camera, which instantly calculates the compensation needed. A linear motor then shifts the Optical Image Stabilizer lens as necessary to guide incoming light from the image straight to the CCD.
