Trying to remove the slider on SGH-A737

To remove the slider mechanism, take out the 4 visible screws first (under the battery cover). Then on the back of the phone at the bottom, remove the 2 little rubber circles with a tiny flat head screwdriver to reveal 2 more screws, take those out. Take out the 2 screws on either side of the flex cable that is coming out just below the battery compartment. Next is the part that took me hours to figure out. L Beneath where the battery sits is a long oval shaped thing (=======) <- looks something like that (sorry I don't have pictures). This is actually a sticker. Peel this up and remove the 2 screws under it (keep the sticker intact becase you will need to replace it later). This will detach the slider from the phone. Make sure to gently disconnect the flex cable from the mainboard first.

From there you can see more screws that will help you take apart the sliding part of the phone to access the lcd screen if you need to replace it (which is what I was doing). It's pretty easy from there to get everything else apart. Make sure when you disconnect the cables from the back of the LCD screen, that you flip up the little release tabs on the connectors first.
