Whats the problem?

Back - Remove speaker grill, unscrew, climb in trunk, unplug - remove.

Front - Remove speaker grill, unscrew, pull out, unplug. If you have problems remove window winders and door skins

SOURCE: Will 2 KENWOOD KFC-6982iE fit in 1999 mazda protege

If they fit then put them in. The only thing is, if your not using a amp they may not sound good.

What are the factory size speakers for a Mazda Familia Hatchback 1995 (3 door)

This vehicle is also marketed as the Mazda 323 and Protege. There is no listing for a 3 door Protege for 1995. For the 1995 sedan the speaker sizes are 6.5" for the front and 6x9 for the rear. There is no listing for a 1995 323 (which is a 2 door hatcback)but, the 1994 323 has 6.5" speakers for the front and rear.

Replaced Headunit with after market one, but now the dash lights don't work, Fuses are fine, everything else is fine. Car is 1999 Mazda 323

Hi, there is a factory wire (red with a black stripe) in your car for illuminating the stock radio. This wire is not to be used in an aftermarket radio, so you need to make sure it isn't connected and also isolate and bare wire with electrical tape. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Mazda protege 1999 rear brake replacement

Have you adjusted the adjuster to bring the shoes close to the drum? Always force the pistons in (the return springs should hold them in) and then adjust to make a tight fit after replacing. When the shoes are on right, there is no way for the piston to come out, as there is only a quarter inch of travel.

Radio Speakers

Its possible that some wires are loose, considering both rear speakers are not working and not just one. Your best bet is to check for any loose wires behind the front deck or behind the rear speakers.
