In my computer , the pendrive is shown as removable disk and the computer identifies and installs it also, but whemn I try to access it, it says that there is no disk. I cannot access my files or see my files or format it. Please provide me with a solution.
Hey I have solved the problem posted by me yesterday regarding pendrive not being accessed. It is a Transcend pendrive of 2GB capacity. I went to website www.transcendusa.com. Then I went to Tech support and selected my location(eg. India) through their user friendly menu. Then it asked for the product. I mentioned USB flash drive. Imediately it displayed an ONLINE recovery. I selected the pendrive from USB flashdrive. i.e mine is V series, V30. Then through the download link provide for different operating system viz. in my case windows XP I downloaded the onlinerecovery.exe file, plugged in my pendrive. It gives option of repair & retaing data or Repair & erase data. I went for the first one and my pendrive was repaired in 5 minutes and my data was restored intact. I got back all my files. Hope this will be very useful to Transcend pendrive users. Most of the problems are repaired by them the firm claims. Try it out and happy pendriving.
