Question about Dell 1600n All-In-One Laser Printer
I recently got a new Dell Laptop with Vista Premium. When I install the driver, it can't "see" the networked 1600n, even though my windows XP computers find it with no problem.
Also, Windows Vista sees the printer when I look for networked devices.
I have seen this problem in other forums, but does anyone have a solution?
Make sure you're using the drivers for Vista, which can be found on support.dell.com. You'll want to use the choice for Vista 32-bit.
Also, try turning off your firewall, as it may be blocking the network data.
