Hello would the Goodman CPLE18-1c and CPLE30-1 model work on a 220voltage. It says on the machine AC volts 208/230. I want to purchase both of them, however, I would like to know if it would work whenI ship it to Africa.
Yes, of course, it will work, since it is rated 208/230. Does it come with a 208 and 230 selector switch?. Then you can set it at 230v. If none, then it will operate well between 208 to 230 volts. That means that 220v is within range. E-mail me if this help and please don't forget to cast your vote for me in Fix Ya.

Works fine on cool; on heat it puts out hot air for a minute or two and then gets stuck in a defrost(I guess) cycle with a strange noise from the evaporator/fan (inside) unit. It is a Rheem branded product I think the salesman said was made by Goodman when installed about 3-4 years ago.

Conia 3 HP, 5 yr old air conditioner/ had split system outdoor unit serviced recently, re-gassed, some leak fixed/ internally wall unit discharges droplets of water that seems to drip through front cowling , and fall to carpet.Droplets of water can be felt being thrown out by the fan ...it seems wet through to the louvres. I have a GE window air conditioner with eletronic thermostat and remote control. It is probably 3 or 4 years old and I cannot find the model no. or the manual. The problem is this: sometimes when I try to set the thermostat to the desire temp., the numbers will automatically start climbing until they reach the highest setting. When I try to reset the desired temp., It runs back up before I've even taken my hand from the button. Occasionally, if I unplug the unit it will correct the problem and run fine for a few minutes or hours or days. But sometimes, no matter what I do, the problem is persistant. I haven't seen any postings with the same problem. Any advice?
