My computer keeps freezing for about 30 seconds

go to command prompt run CHKDSK/F

restart,chksdk wil fix it.

You have had that computer for a while. I have a 5000 also.

Have you done maintenance on it?

Here is what you should do:

Get CClean, Defraggler, SpyBot - Search and Destroy, Comodo RegCleaner. All free and all easy to download and operate. Use them at least monthly. Google them for fastest results.

Youwill be amazed at what these programs clean from your system
