Problem for Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Wireless lan not working
My wireless lan was not working for about 4 months. We bought our kids the same model Acer netbook, (about three months ago) and when I set up it up to connect to our wireless lan, mine started to connect again. But, about a month ago I had to do a bios restart.(sometimes called "black screen of death" I found out.) No problems connecting to wireless after that. Now it is not connecting again. It is running Windows xp with almost full memory available. (I don't have a lot installed yet.) Any suggestions is very helpfull.

- I have a gateway router from our phone company that another Acer One netbook and a Dell laptop are connecting with no problem. The signal strength is full and yes, I tried updating the driver again but still wont work. This is now the second time this has happend.Sep 23, 2009

Can you see the wireless network or other wireless networks?

What kind of wireless router do you have? How is your wireless signal strength? Are you using the latest and correct drivers for your built-in wireless on the computer?
