1994 chevy suburban, no fuel coming from fuel injectors at start . good fuel pressure, good spark. installed new injectors, in line fuel filter, dist cap, plugs, wires, elect. control module, coil, dist. module, fuses check good, new starter.. will try to start when you spray quick start, but no fuel, no run.when it starts, it runs great
Put an injector noid light at the injector plug terminals to see if your getting a signal from the PCM(computer). If not try to find a computer from the same vehicle that works and swap it into yours to check.A PCM swap will take about 15minutes.

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?
If your saying the starter motor won't crank? Make sure the battery has a full charge and battery connections are all good. Then check the wiring circuits at the starter for voltage and ground. When testing at the starter make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.
If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, also check fuel injector pulse. Can you check applicable trouble codes? How long since a tune-up?
It could be low fuel pressure from a weak pump. A fuel pressure test would find out. When the engine is cold, the computer keeps the injectors open longer-a cold engine needs more gas to run than a warm one. When at normal operating temperature, the computer matches the gas to the incoming air. If you have low fuel pressure against the injectors, that is when you would notice the hesitation. A possibility anyway. If fuel pressure is good, check for trouble codes. A sensor may be sending the wrong information. Could be the mass air flow sensor-the one that tells the computer how much air is coming in so it can match the right amount of gas for it-through the injector on-time. There it is, your injector pulse width is too narrow. Causes lean running, stumbling, hesitation. Another possibility. Check for codes first. If not air or gas related (is your air filter clean? And the gas filter been changed in the last 2 or 3 years?), and no codes, and fuel pressure is good, you may have to keep looking for an electrical fault. If it runs good when cold, doesn't seem likely to be a mechanical fault.
First you need to retrace your steps...before you changed the timing chain and gears did It run ok ? what was initial problem, next put a fuel pressure gauge on your fuel line and cycle your key on to run pos, dont have to try start, just run and see if you have fuel press during the 3 sec or so pump cycles, should be around i think 35-45 roughly for tbi. so if you have good fuel pressure , then you say you have good spark, then your problem is either ingition or valve timing, did your dist.come loose, did you properly install chain & gears and align timing marks. did you have somethine else a part on it too like intake, dist, ? get back with me I'll try to help you.
When you replaced the fuel pump, did you notice if the pick-up line was in good condition or not? I have been told by a mechanic that has over 35 yearsof experience that this was a common problem, and especially now with Ethanol being mixed in with fuel.
JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE FUEL PRESSURE DOES,NT MEAN THE INJECTOR IS FIRING YOU COULD HAVE 100LBS PRESS. BUT IF PCM DOES NOT COMMAND INJECTOR TO FIRE IT WANT MATTER I SUGGEST HAVING NOID LIGHT INSTALLED @ INJECTOR CONNECTOR TO SEE
If you have good pressure to fuel rail, then you may want to check the voltage coming to each injector with a voltmeter. You may also want to check and make sure that every cylinder is getting spark. If you are getting spark and fuel, then you may have a bad sensor somewhere but the car should be put on diagnostic scanner to pinpoint exact problem location.
