I would recommend downloading Bart PE and than burning an ISO to a CD. Once you run Bart PE get under Command Prompt and enter chkdsk c: /f /r. This can also be done from an XP disk under the Administration console.

1. Get a flash drive...and a second computer 2. Download the home version from Avast.com (virus protection) 3. Insert the flash drive into you old computer..and then scan it on the second system after you install the Avast anti-virus program on the second system. 4. Email me back or post here, (my email is: [email protected]) if you determine if you have a trojan or a simple worm..you might try installing the Avast program on your original system..by copying it to the Flash drive..along with the updates from your second system..and then seeing if your original system will install it.
