I bought a new pc today i got it home turned it on it was fine turned it off came back. when i went to turn it back on the i had not touched the button or the pc yet and a big blue flash came from the power supple and a loud bang and now it wont turn on what could be wrong?
Big blue flash! I would say one or more of the filter capacitors just blew up! time for a new power supply. the AC goes into the unit and a surge suppressor is across the line - looks like an orange colored disk - from there it goes to a step down transformer to a multiple output secondary. on the secondary there are numerous "bridge rectifier" circuits that take the AC and change it to usable
dc. That DC is filtered with large capacitance capacitors. I have a site if I can still find it that has large wattage power supplies. I'll find it and get back to you.
ur memory is not placed well, try removing ur memory back and place it again..
