First do not save anything to the disc as when the saving happens the system may overwrite your old files. use a recovery program(check prosoft engineering website) to recover your files. This could be a little tricky, depending on the OS you have. Find a geeky friend to help as the process is not always simple, depending on how much data has been written since the deletion. You can also try searching "deleted user account" on the web.

How do I delete my information and account from leapforce?

On any computer you must first go into the User Accounts under the Control Panel and create a New User Account with Administrative Rights. After creating the new account log off the computer or restart the computer and log into the New Account that you created. Next go back into the User Accounts under the Control Panel and Remove the old user account that has all your information. Select yes if it asks if you want to delete all the files for the account.

Restoring an Acer Extensa 5620 to factory defaults

LOL, good luck using the disks. Most times they don't work.

Why not just create a user account with the friends name then sign on using the account you just created and delete the other user accounts. It will delete all your My Documents folder (music, pictures, videos, documents).

Click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and select the option to create a new user account. Use your friends name to create the account then restart the computer. When it boots back up, log in using the name of the newly created account. Then click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and select a user account to delete. When prompted about saving anything for the account select the option to delete everything associated with the account.

Now if you want to remove any programs after you've deleted the accounts click Start/Programs and search the program list for folders to uninstall. If it has an uninstall option, take it.

Any program you want to delete that is not in a folder in the program list or does not have an uninstall option can be deleted by clicking Start/Control Panel then look for Add or Remove Programs, or Program Features or Uninstall Program (just depends on your operating system). Open it and let it populate the programs, then highlight the program you want to uninstall by clicking it and select Remove or Uninstall.

Hi i need to restore my Phillips iqor computer to factory settings as i am getting rid if it and don't want to leave my personal information on it

You don't have to go thru all that trouble to get rid of your personal information. First just create a new user account with administrative rights that the person who is getting your computer will use. After you create the new user account reboot the computer and log on with the new account you created. Then Delete your old user account. It will delete all your documents, music, pictures, videos.

Click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts then create the new user account with Administrative Rights (not limited).

Reboot and and log on with the user account you just created.

Click Start/Control Panel/User Account and select the account you want to delete and Delete it. When asked about files to save, you want to delete everything associated with the account you are deleting.

If you have more than one user account you want to delete, do the same thing for it.

I want to clear my hard drive, because I'm giving my computer to someone

You don't really want to clear your hard drive unless the person you are giving it to has an operating system to reload, otherwise the computer is useless to them. What you really want to do is get rid of all of your documents, music, pictures and videos. Here's what you should do. 1) Click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and select the option to create a new account. Give the new account the name of the person you are giving the laptop to with administrative rights (not a limited account) or give in a generic name such as Owner or User. 2) Once you've created the new account do a restart of your computer and when it comes up log in to the New Account that you created. 3) Now click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts once again, but this time select your old account, then look for the option to Delete User Account. 4) Delete your old user account and delete all associated files when asked. It will take a few minutes but when finished all of your documents, music, pictures and videos will be long gone and your user account will be gone also. Now when you give the computer to the new owner it will be operational and he can start using it.

Cannot access my account

I assume you cannot log into your user account in Windows.
This is how to create a new user account to log in and to move your user files from the old account to the new one.
Start the computer and keep pressing F8 until startup menu appears. Use arrow keys to select "safe mode".
When windows appears, log on as Administrator.
Use Control Panel, Users and create a new user. Select Computer administrator type. Restart the computer and log on to the new user account. Then you will have to move all your data files:
Open Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Documents and settings\[your old user account]
Select folders Desktop, Favorites and My Documents (this may appear as [User]'s documents) and copy or cut them. Go to c:\Documents and settings\[your new user account] and paste them here.
You will lose only the desktop picture and some windows settings.
After that you may delete the old user account from Control panel/Users

Microsoft office 2007

if u have the installation disc and ms office is not working then first remove the prog.
xp comp:- start/control pannel/add and remove prog double click/ select office 2007/remove/
restart the computer and then install again it will work//
vista computer/win 7 computer:- from control pannel double click on prog and feature and follow the step as above. select the prog and right click / uninstall. restart the comp after it is done and reinstall again//

before doing the above you can just try to make a new user account and log from the new user account after restarting the computer check if this works. if it works then the chance of previous account corruption is possible. remove the old account and save the created document on the desktop of the new account/ this is the promp you get when you delete the old account/ save files/delete files.
warning:-be very sure what you are doing and do it carefully or else it will be a big time problem for you as you will loose all your saved documents and picture/
if the computer is shipped with office 2007 and its creating the problem then do the backup of all ur documents on flash drive or ext hard drive and do the system recovery to bring the computer to original shipped condition. before doing that remember to also check by creating the new user account and logging from that account.

Lost user account

You actually probably created the new account as an admin. You don't really need to recover it. You just use this account as your admin account. You can then create another non admin account now and have everyone else besides the "admin" likely being you, can use the non admin account. All your files can still be found in "rootdrive:\Documents and settings\administrator
There you can find all your documents that you had in My documents under the administrator account.
Hope this helps,
