Ps3 does not show picture or sound

Would you please read the manual of TV & PS3 for HDMI cable's
version.
If you match that version, can play.

Hold the power button for 10 sec's and you'll see the picture again.

is it turning on but not reading discs, if so same is happening to me and i spoke to sony on sat and they told me a patch was coming out tues 8th jan to fix all problems, they assured me this would fix the problem. it shouldn't matter that you have hit the eject button while the game was running. 1000's of ps3's are having disc reading problems at the moment
