What I would recommend you to do is to make sure you have the device connnected in the back of your computer...Make sure you have the latest windows media player..In that case will be 11....Assuming that you have windows xp....Click on start, right click on my computers and click properties...Click on hardware and then device manager...Uninstall the Zen player...Disconnect the device from the computer...Open your windows media player...and then click on tools, options,,privacy...clear history and cookies there...And then plug your device back...if both of the devices arent recognize...updating your windows media player should solve the problem..
