Find out what kind of interface your current one has, like PCI Express Or just PCI ect. Then go to best buy and buy the most expensive one you can afford with the same interface. If you have a built in graphics card then you may be stuck unless it has slot for an upgrade. Just see what slot your motherboard has for a graphics card before you buy one. If its an onboard but has a slot for a upgrade after installation turn off the onboard graphics card in your bios .
