I cant change reagions on dvd anymore so i am stuck on russian region but i wanna watch movies with american region but ive tried everything and dont know w hat to do??/ can you please help me!!!

sounds like your trying to play a dvd thats not for the region setting on your dvd player dvds have differnt codes for all countrys what you need is a universal international code for your dvd player (multi reagion) ive tried to look up the code but cant find it sorry try listing for some one to help you if they have the multi region code for your player

keep in mind you can only change the region 5 times and cannot change it anymore after that (regarless to windows reinstallation , its a hardware thing) you might wanna consider purchasing "dvd region free" or use a 3rd party region free firmware to bypass that

Try changing the region by right clicking your DVD drive in explorer and select properties, go to hardware tab, select your DVD brand and type, click properties, go to DVD region, and change the region.. Just remember, any DVD only allowed to change the region for about 4 times, after that, you can't change the region anymore..

Power on the dvd player without any disc on it.
Press the PAUSE button and then the following numbers
3 1 4 1 5 9
Then you will be asked which region you want to set up.
0 = All regions. 1 = Region 1. 2 = Region 2 etc.
Then press pause again.
Then power off the dvd, and then turn it on.
I just did it with mine that was setup to only reagion 4 and couldn't watch region 1 dvds.. I set it up to = 0 (all).

Hi there,
make your DVD player reagion free by using following method--

1) Open the Setup menu then go to the Preference page. 
2) Press 1 3 8 9 3 1 on the keypad of the Remote Control. 
3) Options will be available to be selected. 
4) Press UP / DOWN key to select the desire Region Code. 
5) Press OK. 

N.B.: Region 0 = "playable in all regions" - aka "region free" (Also known informally as "All regions")

Try changing back to region 1. Let us know if it works

0 means the region is perfect you can play all dvd regions.

This is what you would want if you're going to watch NTSC, PAL, etc. movies.
