ATI Radeon 1650x Problem in Installation

I have recently purchased a ATI Radeon X1650 Graphics Card. My current PC is running on Integrated Graphics powered by the ECS motherboard. When I try to install the new AGP card, the computer does not boot. But when I remove the card from the slot it boots from the onboard graphics. Can you please help me in this regard.

Some games require high settings, they run on phsx, sli, 256mb-512mb. Ram is also a factor, When installing a good graphics cards some things change and it takes some power to run them. Although I made one run on 480 watts its not recommended, Later as you ad more features (upgrade) 550watts is some of the minimum system requirements to run at least one graphics card. If its still doing the same thing after the power supply, Another is make sure the upnp (universal plug and play) and pnp (plug and play) are enabled in the services menu.

This one is simple, the computer's stock powersupply which is probally at about 250 or 180 watts isnt generatiing enough power to the Vcard. Basically you need to purchase a higher watt power supply, you can get a decent 400+ watt for under 40 dollars almost anywhere.  Just a simple swap will do the trick.

ATI RADEON X1650 Pro Problem

The graphics card might not be working in sync with your processor. Get it checked WHY this is happening. Probably a faulty connection somewhere. See if you can find one before getting it checked.

ATI RADEON X1650 Pro, AGP Graphic Card 512MB compatibility

Maybe this post is a bit old, but on last deceber I bought an AGP 512MB ATI Radeon X1650 PRO for my Foxconn motherboard and I must say that it's simply awesome!
I can play most games on mid-high settings on reasonable resolutions (most on 1024x768) with good FPS (except with Crysis... but let's face it, did Crytek bought a time machine to warp a 2010 game??).
So, if you already have it, then congratulations, and if you still are thinking on buying it, then what are you waiting for!?
Also, it's AGP x8, if your motherboard support x8, then it should run perfectly fine.

Also, I have a bit of problems trying to run Prey on the X1650...
It always appears an error... it's not of much importance, as I have much better games, but I haven't tried it with high fancy graphics... :P

X1650 xt agp installation problem

check and see if your pc has the recommended power requirements, a lot of the generic power supply's can't support anywhere near the posted wattage. A good power supply is very heavy with big heat sinks. Also check and make sure that the graphics card does not require any extra power connectors. A lot of the newer card require you to either plug in a pci-e power connector, molex plug, or floppy drive power cable.
