Love the handspring palm desktop software from 1999-2000

I used to have the palm pilot but never really liked using it... but I always loved the desktop version that was used to synchronize the info. It was so simple to use as an address book. I still have the installation CD and I still use it on my Windows Vista believe it or not. Is there a way that I can update the software to the newest version without buying the actual hand held palm pilot? The installation CD color is green and it says 1999-2000 Handspring, Inc - part no. 50-0115-00. I don't mind paying for the software if I have to. Thank you for your help!
