I HAVE A LG HDTV,THAT I HAVE HAD A LITTLE OVER A MONTH,AND I BOUGHT A HDMI CABLE AND I DON`T NOT KNOW HOW TO CONNECT IT,I HAVE A SATTELITE RECEIVER AND A DUAL DVD AND VHS PLAYER.
The HDMI cable plugs into the TV and other sources. Make sure you have the correct HDMI cable for your set. Each cable handles both audio and video. Turn it over if it does not fit in. It only fits one way.
You need one cable for each source and your TV has to have at least one jack for each source or you need to buy a switch box, if it has only one and you have several. You then must select the correct source on your TV for the input. Your satellite box (DVD or VHS) each must have a HDMI jack to use this cable on each.

Just for information, we are Fixya dot com, we are not LG Support or Dell Support.
It is possible to connect the two. The Dell has an HDMI 2.0 Port. All you have to do is connect to the television and then use the Source button on the television remote to the numbered HDMI socket on the television where the cable is in.
turn off tv and laptop. connect the hdmi cable to your tv and laptop turn tv on then log onto your laptop Both devices need to be off when connecting the hdmi cable
are you sure that your hdmi cables are good? the first thing i would do is get one that you know is good and plug it in to your tv and to something else, and make sure both are on, and see if it works, if that don't work then you prob have a problem with your source.
Do you have a menu within the cable box? Just curious if they have a switch option from analog to digital? Take a look first then let me know the cable co. and the box make?
Connect the HDMI outputs on your various components to the HDMI inputs
on your receiver. Connect the HDMI output on the receiver to the input
on your TV. HDMI incorporates digital audio, so no need to buy optical
audio cables. If your receiver does not have HDMI inputs for all your
components, you will need to make a choice. HDMI = Best, component
video + optical audio = second best, S-video+ optical audio = third
best

Just connect one end of the

Connect the other end to the
socket on the back of your TV which says HDMI IN.
Connecting with an
Optical cable:
You need to purchase an Optical cable if you wish to connect your PS3
console through a digital audio device (Home theater, AV receiver
etc.,). You need to connect Video ouput seperately with a help of Video
output cable (HDMI, AV Cable etc.,)
Connect one end of the optical
cable to "Audio Out" socket on the console

Note: You can also connect your console to the
Internet to use the Playstation 3 internet capabilities. Here's how
you do it:
