Hoshizaki AM-50BAE Is So Loud!

It should cycle chilled water which then freezes on the plates. It would only stop when the ice bin is filled to the sensor.

If you want the ice maker work. you will to pay for the repair, If you want you cam another company.. Or you can do nothing which is nothing

the wiring diagram shows that if the bin thermostat goes bad, it will not send power to the control board and noting will run. look for that first, could be a simple fix.

Sounds like the water pump relay on the man circuit board is stuck in the closed position, try tapping the relays on the board with the handle of a screwdriver, sometimes this will jar the relay and cause it to unstick and work fine. Hope this helps. p.s. the relays look like black boxes on the board and there will be several of them. just tap them all.

not usually. Most all of those pumps are rebuildable. You can get the housing as it is probably cracked.

make a few quick checks. If there are water filters on the system, be sure they are not restricked. Could be clogged. Next, check the bin stat. It usually is mounted in the ice bin. If it breaks or goes bad, it shuts down the machine. Start there and let me know if I can be of any further help.

How loud?, could be the icemaker. Does it make ice ok. try raising the ice tray bar to see if the noise goes away.

There should be a copper bulb located in the ice bin. This is the probe for the thermostat. If you follow the copper line connected to this bulb it will bring you to the thermostat, and you may can adjust it. Please let me know if you need any more help.
