Cartridge error printer says cartridge error. refer to device documentation for troubleshoot. what i do?

If you had the cartridge in the printer for sometime, try replacing it.
OR Is this recently installed Cartridge ?

Try the method for both criteria.

Remove the cartridge, Clean the electrical contacts ( golden dots ) with lint free cloth, Install the cartridge and the error should disappear.

If this does not work, Try contacting HP Tech support ( 1-800-474-6836 )

Newer printers and all in one machines do not take refilled cartridges.

propably the color one with a new one or a refilled one

either they need to e replaced or put ack in slowly and varefully

hi i dont have the tricolor cartridge in my hp 5610 and i want to work only with black cartridge and my printer says there is no cartridge on the left , is it posible to solve this problem and work with one cartridge only ? i can print but copy and fax doesnt work . thanx
