I have Hughes net. Had Local net dial up.

The software for Local Net should be in your Add/Remove programs. If it is in there, just right click on the program, and click uninstall.

I can't get my macbook to coonect to hughes net

Hi. Is it your MacBook or your router that won't connect? the first point of contasct is the router, it connects to the net and provides the links to whatever is attached to it. The macbook talks to the router and the router delivers.

Lose internet connection (hughes net) when hooking up router

I would contact your hughes net, that is a satelite provider. That is a total different system, than dsl or cable. Hughes net should be able to walk you through the setup.

Wndr 3300 net gear router wont work with hn 9000 hughes net modem

I went to the Hughes web site to check out the modem. They say it is also a router. I think you will have to disable the router abilities of your WNDR 3300 Net Gear Router.

Get into the Netgear setup by loging on to it.In its WAN setup select Static IP Address and set the Static IP Address to the same as the hughes modem, except for the last number which should be about 50 greater. IE: Hughes 192.168.12.1 and Netgear 192.168.12.55.

In the DHCP setup, disable the DHCP Server

In the Wireless setup, Give your network a name is SSID. You should also set up security to keep others off you internet connection with a WEP key.

I hope this helps.

NetWave Base G4 router "goes to sleep"

well one thing if your router uses the same IP address as your hughes net then they will interfere with each other. hook your router to your pc and leave the hughes modem out of the equation then go to command prompt on your pc and type in ipconfig that will tell you what ip address your router is using that way you can get into the settings of the router and change whatever you need to change.....I would just set it back to default and make sure the ip address is not 192.168.0.1 because that is the dynamic ip for hughes

Windows cant find system32/nvcpl.dll

Hi there.
system32/NvCpl.dll is to do with Nvidia graphics drivers.
In Vista the best way to solve this problem is right click "computer" select "manage", then select "device manager" .
When the list populates look down the list for "display adapters", click on the + icon next to them and open the list up, your graphics drivers should be Nvidia, right click on it and uninstall it, then restart your PC.
Log in to windows as normal and let the system automatically detect and re-install the drivers for you.
The problem should now be resolved.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

NvCpl.dll not found in path...

either you Can go to http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?nvcpl download the file (which I would not guaranty it is a legal web site w/o any bugs.)
or you can reinstall the application.
try to clean the CD before insert it in the reader.
