My Itouch (1st Gen) has recently stopped working on all USB cables, so now the only way i could charge it was an Ihome rip off. But now, my itouch is disabed and to try again in 5000000 minutes.

I had to reset my itouch, then reset the Belkin Tunebase FM. I then had to change the radio frequency that Belkin's website recommended. After tha, the itouch played through the radio.

The newest versions of the Iphone uses USB charging only, while older generations of (any) Ipods used firewire for charging. First generation Iphone and Ipod Touch could be charged with either method. Most docks historically used the firewire charging method, making them incompatible with all but 1st generation Iphones. You need a new cable/charger that charges with the USB method.

Talked to both Apple and Logitech, and uploaded newest firmware ( had assumed since this was a recent purchase it had same), presto, it works.

This type of problem is best answered by the Emerson technical support. They will know if the functions you want will be available to you with the operation of the Clock/Radio and your iTouch. The telephone number for the Emerson customer support is 1-800-909-1240. You can call them during the hours of 8am-4:30pm central time USA. maybe u have the 1st gen itouch. the 1st gen itouch doesnt havent speakers. Your friend probably have 2sec gen which has speakers. If u look at each other's itouch carefully, u'll notice a slight difference near the edges. your friend's itouch's edge is probably curved like in the 2sec gen one while urs probably isnt.

hi :) it might be your software for you ipod. try to get the latest software for your ipod :) hope it helps :)

1st gens are easier to jailbreak, as you only need a single program called quickpwn to do it. with 2nd gen, you need to download a .ispw file. good luck
