The side key keeps getting stuck.

It keeps happening intermittently. I took it to the service agent and they said they wont fix it until they see the problem in front of their eyes. I couldnt leave the fone with them until it happenend. Another service station said, they are incapable of fixing it.

I have finally decided to launch a formal complaint with the customer services court. Just having the papers ready

I am having problems with my motorola droid a885. I need to hard reset it. I found the instructions on how to do that but I don't know where the arrow buttons are at. I did not see any on the keypad.

Press all of the buttons and keys on the phone one by one with it powered off and the battery out. Make sure they all feel normal to the touch and when pressed. Check the buttons on either side of the main display carefully, as these tend to get stuck more than others.

Ok so this may sound really weird, but i massaged me keypad gently with my thumbs for a few minutes at a time and my whole keypad came back. I was texting with a wet hand and my whole keypad went wonky on me then i freaked out and came to this site. well i read a few of the soulution suggestions and mixed them. I turned off my phone and pressed the buttons one by one. Then i turned on my phone and pressed the only that would work so that the pone would get hot. Then i gently blew into the side of the phone in the crack that is the two halves of the phone and then i gently took both thumbs and massaged the keypad from zero to arrows. Soon i got my 6 to work then my 0 then all my numbers and my whole keypad came back to life quickly. I hope this works for someone else.

Keypad does not work

I had a common problem which none of my keys worked except the "off" key. I baked my phone in the oven on the lowest setting for 20-30 minutes and it works now. It is a humidity issue.

My keypad won't work

Sounds like the power button is possibly stuck or broken. Razr's aren't very durable. Did it get wet or dropped recently?

Motorola razr v3 keypad....!!!

This is usually caused by one button being stuck down, and the volume control buttons on the left of the main display, and the voice button on the right of the main display are the usual culprits. Try squeezing them and making sure they move normally. Then power down the phone, pop out the battery, and give it another shot.
