JVC Camcorder HDD Can't burn to disc or download to PC

I bought a JVC HDD Cam. in July 2007. I have deleted/edited on the Cam. itself, no problem. With a little practice, its great. The problem is when I come to either download to the PC or burn to a disc, mainly using the PowerDirector or following instructions from the book I'm not having much success. I sent an EMail to JVC for help. They were quick to reply but to me it was Jargon. I keep having to delete more and more footage to free up space. I have plenty of space on the PC but a message says I have not.
Please HELP.
Many Thanks.

How can I edit my video disc

I don't know if your camcorder have features to edit videos in camcorder itself, while some camcorders can. If it dosen't, you need to edit DVD videos on computer with an editor such as ArcSoft ShowBiz. And you need to check your DVD disc style at first. Some discs support rewriting so you can shoot a video, edit it, delete it, shoot a new one all on one disc. Some don't, once you finalize it, nothing can be modifyed. For those rewritable discs, ShowBiz is really a good choice, which enables you to edit disc frames, customize buttons, layers, etc. It even support blu-ray discs editing and burning.
