Question about Washing Machines

Washer stops in rinse cycle

Hello,
We have a problem with our Kenmore Mod. 110-88762793. Every time we do a load of wash it stops in the rinse cycle, it does not spin and the water does not leave. The machine remains full of water. THis happens in all cycles. What can it be?

Note: I do not know if it helps, but in this Kenmore's model the washer loads fron the top.

    Electroguy, many thanks in advance
This is the information I have:
    Mod. 110.88762793
    Ser. MM0109390
    Type DFSO-ELE-2406027-FM96

I veryfied this in the dryer door --I do not see anything else in the washer.

I guess we found it. It's plastic and it is broken.
    SOme questiones:
    1) What is the name, number or model of this part? DO you know it?
    2) How do we change it? It is connected to a electric wire and secured with a silicon type of glue. The wire is not so long, so it is hard for us to cut it and change the part with no risk --and risk is to lose the wire in the bottom of the machine.
    3) And how do we seal it?

well first check the lid switch ,make sure its working or locking the lid.If this is not latching then it wont spin as a safety feature. These switches and or plastic latches break oftenthen see if you could hear the water pump or a humming when in drain or spin mode.If pump is stuck or not pumping .It will not spin..check this link to forum maybe this will help .http://forums.partselect.com/

My Kenmore HE2t washer is stopping about 8 minutes into the cycle (any wash cycle)..completely turns off. I can run rinse and spin then and it completes the cycle. No error codes when it turns off. W

htc sensor isnt working i would recon
perhaps the element isnt getting power
did it trip your circuit breaker
some times the htc fails
all you get is machine stop because the heater is not detected

if it spins rinses and empties in a timely manner
then all thats left is the heater system

Kenmore 80's series top loader only works on wash and rinse cycle

This is a problem with the pump being stuck so the motor cant turn the whole thing. Turn the washer on its side, underneath you can acces the pump, which is connected to the motor by two long clips. remove the pump and take out the colg that caused it to get stuck.

Washer stops during rinse cycle and isn't easily restartable....

Sounds like the contacts in the timer has a problem. Unplug washer. Remove the back of the washer and spray WD40 in the timer. Put towels around and under to to collect excess runoff.
Rrotate washer dial 25 times and spray some more wd40. Rotate 25 times again. Do a wash load. If it works put everting back together.

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

Kenmore elite washer problem

sounds as if you have a drain issue, most common cause of fault is theres something stuck in the pump housing. remove the lower acess panel(3 screws along the bottom of the forn of unit) youll gain acess to the pump housing, remove the large cover to the "button trap" by uncscrewimg the cover, it will be righthin front of you in the center of machine when cover removed, im sure youll find your blockage within there
