Got a Small Business Server in a small branch that seems to be rebooting irregularly now with an EventID 1003, however can't seem to get any more info than that.
Looking it up on Google its either driver or RAM related but is there any way of tracking down which driver etc it is?
Take a look at the system and event logs to see if anything is identified as a problem. Also look at the device and hardware managers to see if anything is showing an alert or error. These events do happen occasionally but can be caused by a number of issues such as: CPU – Overheating – make sure fans are working and all filters are clean – check the CPU temp via the BIOS and make sure it has the temp alarm turned on. RAM Power Supply – Check all voltages are correct – usually via BIOS or use a voltmeter Hard Disk or controller error NIC error Run a set of full system diagnostics – if you don’t have any then download a free trial of SisoftSandra Lite from http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/index.html?dir=&location=downandbuy&langx=en&a=
and this will check out the system and report any hardware or system related errors. Assuming that you run an antivirus, anti malware and anti spyware on the system it is worth running a registry clean by using a free 30 evaluation copy of Ashampoo from www.ashampoo.de to declutter the system

I'm currently using Windows 2000 OS in my office network with around 13 computers networked by a switcher. I decided to upgrade my OS to Window 2003 but when I checked my network, the other computers can see the upgraded computer but the upgraded computer couldn't see the other computer. What should I do? Do I need to upgrade the other computers 1st before they can see each other or do I need to re-configure the network again? Kindly advise. Thanks! Christian
