Hi,

It is a fuse problem for sure. Take it out to be checked (technician). Some components needs to be replaced. Get a certified repairer to do this for you. Little can be done from here in this regards, i wish any of our expert was there with you.

Hope this helped.

I tend to have lot of problems concerning lcd monitors. i suggest you change your signal cable from the pc to the monitor. try a new one. if the problem persist, then you should knoe that the monitor within its circuit board has a problem and the only person to help on that is someone who specialises in monitor repairs.

post a comment if there shoould be anything that you feel has not been done to help you .

thank you.

I have a Vx2433WM and am using it as a tv for my PS3 through hdmi connection. The audio stopped working. I tried muting and un-muting but nothings happening. How do I get my audio back??

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. If the volume is not working on the monitor the next thing you need to check is the HDMI cable. If possible to replace the cable so that we can determine the problem if this is caused by the cable, the monitor or the PS3. You can also try to connect the PS3 to a different TV using the same cable and see if you will hear a sound. Please let me know what happen so that we can continue troubleshooting.
Thanks

The PC is dead, no fans run or anything. It will not power up so I bought a new power supply and installed it but still the same issue? It does have 120 vac power into the power supply.

maybe your CPU is busted.try to replaced a new processor and test it.or double check the setting of the power on *********** board switch, maybe you inserted wrong.

Signal has gone

If the monitor comes on and displays a message like "no input signal" or something similar, it's working properly but there is nothing coming from the computer. People often think that the computer is working and the monitor is at fault, when in fact the computer isn't starting up.

When you turn on the computer, do you hear the normal sounds of the power supply fan running and the hard drive spinning? Most computers will give a beep when they turn on and the motherboard finishes some startup checks. Do you hear that? Do you ever hear the normal startup sounds that mean Windows is actually running?

If you are convinced the computer is starting and booting into Windows, I would suggest you borrow a known good monitor to use as a test. If it works, that obviously means yours is bad. In most cases there's nothing you can do to repair a monitor yourself beyond checking for loose connections, bent pins in the signal cable plug, or a damaged cable.

If a known good monitor still has no image, the computer is at fault. Either the video card or integrated video isn't working, or the computer isn't actually starting up. In any case, that's where you would need to start looking for the cause.

Hope this helps you along the way to solving the problem. Thanks fo using Fixya!

Monitor will not turn on after booting computer

if you have onboard video try a video card that fits in PCI or AGP slot or try a different video card in place of the one you use
with everything else seeming to be correct this seems like the only thing you have not done

Dell LCD monitor suddenly loses power

Hello,

Five years is a long time for an LCD panel. You definetly got your money's worth.

But, if your trouble shooing has led you to this conclusion I can also only conclude that the power driver inside your panel just gave up the ghost.

However, try giving Dell a call, for what's thats worth and see what they have to say.

You might also want to ask this expert "Robotek" what he may think as he is a board troubleshooter and could give you an answer if one is there.

Type this or copy and paste into your browser's address bar:

Dead pc

try to remove all external device connected to your computer. just leave the keyboad, mouse and monitor connected.
restart computer.
if still a blank screen
remove everything connected to your computer (mouse kyeboard and monitor) restart if nothing happens
open your computer and remove all devices (hard drive, optical drives, memory... restart,,, you should be hearing beeping sounds indicating motherboard is looking for memory. try putting back 1 memory at a time and checking all mem slot. to identify if one of the memory could be causing the blank screen. if both memory will not work try to use known good working memory. if you dont get to hear the beeping sound using a known good working memory. your memory is the problem.

Can not connect

Power up headset. Press and hold the + and - Volume buttons until the red and blue lights flash . Your phone should now pair with the headset. For passcode I used 1234 and this worked.

32" Sceptre LCD No POwer

0939a31.jpg This is the same problem I am having with my Speptre X20WG Naga Monitor.
The power LEDS are usually red in standby and blue in opp; but now they just go purple and nothing happens..no sound no picture. I called tech support and no dice they just wanted my money, but I think all we might have to do is change a fuse on the main pcb! As you can see the white arrow isnt really pointing to anything specific! I think the fuse is the lt blue component, but am not sure. This is all I can offer! If you gat any good tips or if anyone else finds a fix please email me [email protected].
Thanks! and good luck m007!

No power to monitor

Your problem is really multiple problems. One is if the monitor blew out, the second is weather it damaged the computer when it went, the third is if the computer went first killin the monitor. I would first see if your computer is ok by turning it on with out any monitor connected and listen to hear if it sounds as usual. If not something may be wrong with your computer. If everything is ok plug in another monitor (borrow from a freind if you do not have a spare) and see that the computer is ok. If it's ok great but if there is a problem with the computer that is a whole new question.Next if the monitor's on light does not come on and you know it has power the monitor is most likely fried. Hope this helps and could use more details
