When you first turn on the power push the F8 key repeatedly until you get to a screen that gives you some options, then try to start from last known good config. see if that gets you going, if not try to restart again and do the F8 key again and this time try it in safe mode see if it starts windows now it should and if it does, go back to your restore and go back only one day, it should reboot itself and work now, Also If this does not work give more info, like operating system windows xp, vista, 98, 2000.ect. what lights are on, are they blinking, power cord has been checked on back of tower, if its a desk top . also you can try to hold the power button in for about twenty seconds and release it. If it still does not work let us know we will try another method. Happy Holidays

I want to set back to factory mode

I am guessing that you want to do a complete system restore back to factory, correct? If so then you realize everything on your computer will be wiped out and it will be back to what is was when it left the factory. This is an extreme change. Turn off your Lenovo. (i mean shut down and make sure it's power off) Now press on the "One Key Recovery" key at the top of your Keyboard, your Lenovo S10 should boot up. Else hold down the "One Key Recovery" key until it boot up. Now you may choose "Restore to factory settings" from the screen and proceed for the restoration. ** the restoration will first check if your windows files has been corrupted, if yes, then it will restore it to the original state and no restore is required. else it will continue with the restoration. Hope this helps...

    Restore back to factory settings

If you don't mind loosing everything on the hard drive, restoring the system is fairly easy.
Locate your disks that came with the computer. In there, you should find a disk either for Vista Home or a restoration disk. Place this in the drive and reboot the computer. You may have to press a key like F8, F10, etc, during the very first startup screen to boot to the disk.

You should be able to follow on screen instructions from there.
