Where do I find the ethernet controller driver for dell dimension 2350

If that is the one that came with the computer you can download it from Service and support at Dell from the updated drivers section.

I have Dell Dimension 2350 desktop but i haven't ethernet driver how can i get it from internet?

Hi, I have checked out your model on the Dell support site. Click on the link below and select your operating system at the top and these are all the drivers that are compatible with your desktop. If you are looking for your Ethernet driver then select the Networking section below. If you have a memory stick you can try and download the driver you need to this memory stick and then access device manager on your computer. Select the Ethernet component and then right click it and select properties at the bottom of the list and then select update driver and then choose the location of the driver i.e. your memory stick. Make sure you choose the right driver though. Good luck. Andrew

Added 2g to a dell dimension 3000, only 1g recognized

Dell has a really good support site. You log on, enter your service tag number (on the top of side of your PC) and they will tell you exactly how much ram you support, the type of ram needed and how many slots it has. If it was a matching pair then it should be working, unseat it and reseat it, it may not be in all the way. If still don't show then put it back in the old computer and see if it reads it. If not then the RAM stick got damaged during the move. But no doubt you should be able to handle more that 1GB of RAM. Good Luck, let me know if you have any questions.

Total newbie here - how do I add more memory to my DELL Dimension 2300? I have my cpu open and i am replacing my fan also.

Well your Dell 2300 has a total max. memory of 1 GB from both slot.
If you already have (2) 512MB RAM in the slot then thats the max it can handle.

Dell 2300 only has 2 memory slots. Memory comes in 1- 128MB, 256MB and 512MB PC-133 DIMM modules. So if you want to max it out get (2) 512 MB PC-133 DIMM.

You must wear a static strap or ground yourself first on the computer chassis before you touch any thing inside your computer
to discharge any static electricity

I have two dell computers, dell dimension 4600, and dell optiplex gx270 smf. I've checked into upgrading the memory on the gx270. It says that it uses the same memory configuration as the dimension 4600....

even though the memory stick sizes are the same, and the speed, there are other differences between memory types, such as parity/non parity, 2x32, 16x4 etc. more than likely, the speed of the memory sticks are different. the easiest fix for this is put the slower memory sticks in bank0 and bank1 (logical numbering used) and then the faster memory sticks in bank3 and bank4. this will cause the faster memory sticks to run at the speed of the slower memory sticks. If your sticks are parity and non-parity mix, then you will probably not be able to combine them.

Want to kow how much ram I can add and where to buy it.

Dimension 2350 Series has two memory connectors and supports non-ECC PC2100 (266-MHz) DDR SDRAM memory modules. Supported memory capacities are 128, 256, or 512MB. The maximum (total) memory is 1GB.

Regarding where you could buy? I suppose you can check you local PC store. There is always eBay if you fancy.
