Bill AU thanks Lolita's solution. It is really the memory is bad. A wierd thing happened. When I changed memory the AsRock Motherboard works. However the 'bad' memory works on other computer but only not on the AsRock Motherboard. It was too late. It costs my job.

First of all, not all the time memory is bad it gives a beep. So you might still want to verify that it's not the memory. Try the memory in another cpu or try another memory in your cpu.

If you have verified that the memory is not the issue, then your next culprit is the video card. Make sure the video card is working. Take it out and clean the contacts with a clean piece of cloth and then reseat it properly.

Please let me know when you have verified the above recommendation and if it works or not.

Thanks and good luck

Loud beeping sound on start up , now will not start up , power ok

First remove the Ram and boot the system without it. If you hear continuous two beeps, then the problem is with the Ram, you need to replace it. If nothing happens, then your cpu or your motherboard is gone. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

No beep,No Display on my monitor, only CPU heatsink fan is moving

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting

I always suggest this and many times I get yelled at, but I'm just trying to help...

Did you plug in both power cords? There are two, one is rectangular and one is a smaller square shaped connector.

If that's not it and you've tried pulling all the cards and devices (RAM, HDD, CD/DVD) then you most likely have a bad motherboard.

Good luck.

Screen not showing anything

Some time the system will work due to insufficient power source this problem may occur replace SMPS and check the CPU heat by touching it. If it warm then the CPU is functioning. Else contact your nearest hardware vendor.

Hope this will solve your problem.
