Motorola Q won't open .tiff files

I have documents forwarded to me via email in a .tiff format. The Q doesn't recognize them. I downloaded a PQV program which works on the files when they are accessible to it, but the Q tries to open them with its own file viewer and won't recognize them!

How do I open the attachments from PQV, or save them to my storage card from my Outlook file on the phone?

Re: Motorola Q won't open .tiff files

Try this

When you have the email downloaded on the Q, go to File Manager and navigate to \Application Data\Volatile. You will see your attachment there - click Menu\File\Copy To.

Then, navigate down to your Storage Card folder (or into a subfolder, if you like), and hit Done.

using M-File manage or any other file manger that allows u to browse phone file system and edit it...

goto local->ezx_user\download\appwrite\setup

open ezx_system.cfg in text format...(for m-file manager click and hold and select "open text")

Find the line:"[SYS_SECURITY]"
under that u will find "SecurityUnlockCode = "

Change this value to "670b14728ad9902aecba32e22fa4f6bd"

Save it and exit....

Now ur unlock code will be "000000"

Memory card problem

Is your memory card newly purchased? if so just format it. You can do it through your phone or you can format it from your PC using card reader. And remember, when you format the card, select the Fat format not the Fat32 file format, you can also quick format it. If you can do it, let me just brief up the steps here. To format from your phone, open the memory card and when your prompt to format it select "yes" or "ok" and it'll format automatically. If you are formatting it from your pc, Right click on the Memory Card drive and select format and follow the instructions by selecting the File format as Fat.
If you have important data, that'll be more complicated. Put your memory card in the phone and see whether it can be opened or not, if so connect the phone with the card to your pc and backup the files. If you can't open it, then you should format, but do it with the Quick Format and restore your data before you make any changes to your memory card. You can download the data recovery software from this link (Smartrecovery). Good luck

"Media not recognised" Documents to Go error

- Eject the card - Open Document to Go - While still opening the application (in the browser screen), insert the card back to device. The browser will show the card on the top right. - Just close the application as usual. Reopen again, and it should be back to normal.
