Question about Panasonic PT-47WX53 47" Rear Projection HDTV

Screen size is too big all of a sudden

Hello, i have a panasonic rear projection tv and all of a sudden the picture is too big for the screen....for example, the score at the top of the screen doesnt show up and/or the scroll at the bottom doesnt even show up.

i have changed the aspect ratio, and also tried every format on my directv, 480, stretch, pillar box, crop, 1080 stretch, pillar box, etc..

i thought it was my directv receiver so i got a replacement and the same thing still happens....the guide is way over to the left and you cant read it.....

frustrated to no end that i can't resize the picture........

any suggestions?

How to adjust the screen size on a projector tv

mismatching resolution is the problem. If you have a DVI input on your tv I would buy the conversion cable to go from RGB (off the back of the cable box) to the DVI. You should have an RGB on the TV as well and can go RGB TO RGB. Many possibilities including using a scan converter.
