There may be many different power supplies that will work for your speaker system, but they must comply with the following:
1. The output voltage of the power supply should be correct as what the speaker system requires. (seems like 12 V in your case)
2. The specified maximum current output of the power supply should always be a higher value than the Amperage spec of the speaker system.
3. The output wires or pins of the plug on the power supply should correspond to the (+) and (-) on the power input of the speaker system.

A multimeter will come in handy to determine a power supply's output voltage and polarity.

SPK-VELO2 power supply unavailable

Go here: and ask them. They have live chat to answer questions like this. If they can't supply you with a replacement you could ask them for the specs to guide you when selecting a supply. These include the current (in milliamps or amps required by the unit, and the size of power connector that will fit. Without this info no one could help you other than someone who is familiar with them.

What type of power supply is required for this speaker system? If available, how much can I expect to spend for the power supply? I have the speakers but no power supply.

Check the power-connector on the speaker for the rating:
* AC versus DC
* 4.5 versus 5 versus 9 versus 12 versus 18 volts
* 0.5 versus 1.0 versus 1.5 amps
* pole-negative-ring-positive versus pole-positive-ring-negative

Try the local "Thrift Stores", once you have the specifications. You may get the correct suppy for less than $5.

The power supply, LCP106830-0001 is bad. I need a schematic for Philips HTS-3555/37 and new poser supply to repair.

You won't get voltage if you completely disconnect the lcp106830 power supply from the board. The connection to the front panel is required and is used as feedback. I just repaired one and found one of the power diodes faulty.

Dell PC was on at the time, and my little girl switched the PC off at the wall. Then switched it on and off a couple of times. Leaving it off. When pressing on/off button no power was in evidence as no...

Verify that the rocker switch on the back of the PC is in the correct position...check to make sure the minus sign is pressed down and if you have a power strip make sure it's in the on position as well. Then try powering it on. If it still won't power on, it's likely that you will need a new power supply.
