Question about HP PSC 1210v All-In-One InkJet Printer
Even if you are out of warentee, HP will cover their cartridges from 2 years from the manufacture date which is listed on the cartridge itself. If you go through more than 2 cartridges that are the same (NOT REFILLED, NOT REMANUFACTURED) then HP will replace it. There is a microchip in the cartridge itself which registers it's been in a printer before and if that has happened and it's remanufactured or refilled It goes "HEY I"VE BEEN USED" and rejects. - It's not the printer, it's probably the cartridge. Remember, that printer is almost 4 years old, things are bound to go wrong with hardware too (dried up ink in system clogging ink paths is common in old printers)
