Hook up a different monitor and set resolution to no higher than 1024 x 768. Samsung monitor will then work fine. It appears that something fails in the monitor and it will no longer support anything higher than this.
change windows resolution and refresh rate to 1024 X768 and 60 Hz. start->control panel->display->settings-> change the screen resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels-> advanced-> monitor->change refresh rate to 60 Hz-> ok-> yes -> ok.
reinstall the display drivers in safe mode this you can do by pressing F8 and in safe mode, you can also try restoring the machine to previous state Good Luck
