Load paper message when paper is full

I keep getting the out of paper message but there is plenty of paper in the printer and it's back far enough. When I press OK so it will print, you can hear the rollers going like it's trying to print but the paper is not grabbed.

You need to push the paper in further or you will need to a tol to refen up the rollers its a special tool

what happens sometimes is that the rollers are too shiney or greesy from the factory that they wont grip the paper

My printer keeps showing the message "Clear paper jam, then press (check mark), there is no jammed paper in the printer.

If I load my paper at the 'proper' height, it will not feed. If I push the paper down too far, I get a 'paper jam' message. What works for me (even though it's a royal pain) is to feed 1 sheet of paper at a time. Put 1 sheet in so it's level with the top of the feed tray, then gently push it down 3/4 of an inch. That works for me. Good luck.

Messege * load mp tray * but tray has plenty of

MP tray is not the cassette it this flap that pulls down above it.

The machine will revert to asking to place paper in its MP tray when the information it is receiving about the document from whatever program tell it that the size is not the same as what the cassette is set to...

so, check page size in of document in word program or whatever you are using

also check paper type and size settings match those you just checked in the printers properties under printers in control panel.

If you put a piece of paper in the MANUAL BYPASS TRAY bot the cassette it will print on that.

To get evverything back to normal, turn off printer, delete jobs in print que, change paper size of document in word/excell/etc is set same as paper type in printer, print again.. all should be good...

p.s. these are good quality printers that why I bother to answer you... cheers

I keep getting paper jam messages when there is no paper jam.

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Lexmark X5495 Feeds paper in part of the way

I own this printer, it has to do with how you load the paper, it's very touchy, just keep readjusting the paper and you will get it right, you don't want the paper to far into the printer, or you will get a paper jam error, but if it's not in far enough it will sound like it's printing but not feeding the paper. Hope this helps, Julia

Easyshare 500 printer

Be sure the paper tray is full.  Though not a satisfactory solution, I've found the little steel tab that lifts the paper up to be grabbed by the roller just doesn't lift it far enough.  I keep the paper tray full.  Now I only have the problem if I let the tray get down to only one or two sheets.

Error message for Ricoh C410DN

When that message is displayed, the printer thinks the output tray is full of paper and it won't print any more because there is no room left to spit pages out. If the output tray isn't full of paper, the sensor that detects paper there might just be dirty or dusty.

That sensor is a black sensor that should be located just at the point where the paper exits the machine, above where the paper comes out. Blow some compressed air on the sensor to try to clean it off and see if that clears your error message.

Keep getting "11 load letter in tray 1" message

Are the print jobs being sent to printer all the same page size?

Are they all print jobs sent letter page size and your printers cassettes are set for A4 or something?

Your printer is asking for letter size paper, because any paper it has is not set to letter  and document that it is trying to print has been sent as that size.

Check what options you have on print driver on pc as far as Tray defaults, paper type and size settings

Check printer settings via its keypad as to tray defaults, paper size set for each tray and paper type, some printers have paper size switchs on their trays too.
