Is this a pushmower or a riding mower? if its a riding mower sounds like the needle in your carb is allowing fuel into your crankcase check your oil level.

Remove the plug, pull the rope several times. Wait about 30 minutes. Put the plug back in. Try again.

Choke off? Use sparingly if at all. If you have a primer button, only press it 5 or 6 times.

Is your plug in good contition? It may need a replacement. Make sure you get the correct plug.

Let me know how this works out.

What do these codes mean on a diagnostics check? c, ev, o, oh,e? what are these numbers for ISO9141 KWP2000 and why does it steady blink on monitor then say backfire problems?

you need to read the manual for the machine you are hooking to the vehicle .
These are errors not codes you need to understand how it works better.

My car wont start engine turns over but doesnt start like ist recieving no gas

Considering it ran fine after pump replacement for awhile then it is probably a fuel issue. Couple things it could be. 1. you could have a ton of sediment in gas tank and it keeps clogging up your pump. 2. you could have blocked fuel filter and or clogged injectors.

The engine sputter and dies after running for about 2 minutes.

I had this puzzler too! Turned out the problem is caused by the fuel-bowl needle valve. It may look OK but looks are deceiving. It gets a coating on the tip that causes a poor seal ... poor enough to allow fuel to flood the engine after a short run time. The flooded engine dies, but restarts OK after a delay that clears (cooks off) the excess fuel that flooded/killed the engine. SOLUTION: Remove the needle valve and carefully wipe and clean the tip with a white cloth soaked in solvent (gas is OK). The cloth will show the deposits that cause the problem. Carefully re-install the needle valve and float parts, start the engine, confirm that it runs OK and continuously. Simple fix .... puzzling problem.

I have a sears lt 100 mower

Drain all and start from scratch. If gas is good and you have a good strong spark it should start.

Self-Propelled Model Starts, then dies after about 15 seconds

I posted same problem as this couple days ago. Took mower to shop. The governor spring (located just under the air filter) had come off. So glad it was something so minor!

Pull rope seems to be locked up...won't pull

make sure you can turn the blade by hand, make sure grass isn't stopping the blade after that make sure the break cable isn't bad, sometime's the cable don't disengage the break from the flywheel. Hope this works.

Under load the engine sputters and backfires.

I had the same problem; The first 2 years the engine ran fine and then the third year it started backfiring, so I put a new carburetor on my engine and the same thing happened. The real problem was the valves needed adjusted. Yes I know, this is very rare, but it did happen. I decided not to try this adjustment myself and opted for a mower shop to do it. It cost about $50.00 and the engine has been fine ever since.
