Question about Advueu Technology AMW-F196B
When I first turn my monitor on it comes on for about 3 sec. then goes off. I wait 3 sec then turn it on again. It comes on for 3 sec then goes off. By repeating this cycle for 50-100 pushes of the button, I can get it to come on and stay on until I turn the PC off. It works this way with 3 different PC's, so I think it's not a PC or software problem, but in the monitor. Any help? If not, can you direct me to a site that might tell me how to take the cover off so I can look at the on button? I'm about to take my axe to the cover.
I had same problem. I found that there were 2 capacitors on the power supply which were bulging which means that they were faulty. I replaced them and unit worked ok. The values for the capacitors were 680 uf / 16V. If anyone wants any more detailed information, let me know.

Problem is most likely the power supply inside the unit. I had same problem. I removed the back panel and found 2 capacitors on the power supply bulging. After replacing the capacitors, the unit worked ok. If anyone is interested in more detail and pics, let me know.

I still havent got an answer 2 how 2 fix my monitor problems

The web site is http://www.advueu.com. I asked their support about the problem. They were polite, but of no help. They won't tel how to remove the cover for liability reasons. I'm afraid that your experience is not reassuring. I will post here if I find an answer.

My monitor did this as well for several months. I don't turn my PC off. Mine was being triggered by windows putting the display to "sleep" in power save. After several months of the same porblem you have, it is now non working all together. It powers on (sort of ), the power LED flashes green (not steady like normal), however the monitor stays blank. I found the website for AMW a while back, but can't seem to find it in google now. Good luck with yer problem, hopefully you can get it fixed before its down for good. Let me know what you find out. I'm desperate to get mine working
