The unit has no radio output,although it appears to be tuned with the correct frequency display,the aerial is plugged in,switching to mono makes no difference.The CD and tape players are working ok

Hi MadLad,
There are several things to consider re this fault.....
Normally on small systems there is a selector switch to allow you to select what you need to listen to...for example if you want to play a CD then you select the CD mode, insert the CD push play and away it goes....
In your case you need to select Radio, or maybe select AM or maybe select FM, one of these should be accessed from a digital read out menu where you select your requirements.
Please have a good look at the operating manual to see if you can work out how to select the required listening mode, and you will be sweet...
