Hi my notebook has decided to ignore any mouse or keyboard i plug into its USB ports, my printer works in all of the usb ports but i can't get the keyboard to light up in any of them. I realise i must have done something somewhere but am unsure of where and when.

The mouse and keyboard have been working in it previoiusly. I can't get any lights up on the keyboard. I've been looking for drivers but don't really think this is the problem, thaks.

Hi
I uninstalled and reinstaled the usb drivers and voila! iI have keyboard and mouse at my finger tips!
Really appreciate your help - Thanks
use a different mouse or keyboard just to be sure. if it still doesnt work refer to the documentation

just so we can be sure the problem is not from the mouse and keyboards, try another mouse and keyboard and then try your mouse and keyboard on another computer. if the first fails and the second works then we know it is from your usb ports.... then get back to me
(or uninstall the usb controller drivers and reinstall them - on condition that the above apply)
