M robe

you will most likely need to return it because this happens a lot and to my knowledge there is no way to fix it

install the m:trip software from
after tht install the firmware installing the firmware make sure tht u reset the player ..after following all the instructions of the firmware try to synch the player to check whether it detects music and finally restart your m:robe to take effect..!!

An error occurred while updating data

put it back into the craddle and wait it is recognized by windows as a drive again. than start the software you used before. this error occurs when disconnecting the player without telling Windows. Use always 'Safely Remove Hardware' in the taskbar!

M:robe error invalid/missing file

hello, i had the same problem. recently, i had deleted all the files off of my mr-100. i downloaded this file.
Once you unzip it, drag the System Folder and the Index.mum file directly onto your m:robe. then pull it off the dock. you might have to push reset.
i couldnt get the "invalid/missing file" screen to go away for a while. if you slide the hold button into the hold position and then push the little reset button on the bottom, it will remain off and you can put it on the dock, then it will connect to the PC.

M:robe 500

If the screen is cracked, you probably can't fix it. Judging by your description, that is the case, so I think your m:robe is lost.

Synchronize to use your music subscription

go in your settings on the mp3 player and look under USB modes. change it to MSC mode and reconnect it to your PC. if this doesn't work go to Sandisk website and download the firmware updater. and retry...should clear the issue.
