I posted several weeks back, elite rice maker should be band and Maxi-matic shut down. I have never deal with such a rude worthless bunch of employees. I have taken a lost of a elite rice cooker because I am sick of getting a replacement that is also damaged. Mine with warranty was better than what they sent me. None of my e mail nor letter that were send in with the rice cooker were answered. I intend on buying another rice cooker but one that can be serviced local and most of all not an elite. I purchased March 2009, use 3 times and faxed, e mailed, phone send cooker in and still without my rice maker. or solutions. I have thrown in the towel with this company. I put 3 cups of rice in and added water. It turned on just fine. But, a few minutes later, it was completely off. It was hot but the rice was not cooked. It's wet and crunchy. The switch was off, as in it didn't toggle to ''warm'' as it usually does. I made sure the GFC switch was working and even changed plugs. It's still not working. What are some other things i can try?
