Question about Acer AL1716 17" LCD Monitor
Hello there i hope you can help, i have a new acer al1716 17" lcd screen, graphics look great on it but writing looks awful, when i'm on line or using word the writing is not fully formed is the only way i can put it, it is in focus and i've tried adjusting the horizontal and vertical settings which seems to move the lettering to no effect. it just looks wrong, not sharp, i's and l's are thinner than the other letters. any advice?
LCD monitors have something called "Native Resolution". This is the actual number of pixels that are on the screen. If you run any resolution other than the native resolution they always look "fuzzy" to me.
The native resolution for this monitor is 1280x1024. Right click somewhere on the desktop of your computer and select Properties. Now select the "Setup" tab. You should find a slider labled "Screen Resolution" Slide it until it's set at 1280x1024. Then hit OK. All this assumes you're using a Windows machine.
Hopefully this will help. The downside is everything on your screen may appear much smaller.
