Do I am playing along last night after getting the thing 3 days ago. All of a sudden it just shuts down and a single red light comes on at the power supply cord box. The power button will not turn the unit on. If I unplug everything and plug it all back in the light initialy comes on as yellow on the power cord. As soon as I hit the power button on the console the light goes red...no power to console.
The power brick has most likely died.

360 power cord turns red when hooked completely up, when the cord from the of the console is unplugged it turns back to yellow

I HAD the same problem as you bro. i thought everything was all set and tightened. but the cord from the wall to the power brick was still loose. i thought i pushed it in all the way the last time i checked it but i pushed it in more and the wiggling was lessened and it turns on now. i am currently playin and enjoying my damn self
got it 2 days ago turned it on to play it work fine then shut it down and come back to it five to ten min. later but dosent turn on and the light on the cord stays orange. i unpluged it put it in to other outlets and still dosent work.
