Re: Epson projector issue

I've found my solution. My troubleshooting info said to go to "signal" and make sure that "auto" was turned on. However, I couldn't find "auto" when I first tried. There are two places where signal comes up. The second one is under "set-up" and that is where you turn "auto" on. It works perfectly now. I hope this helps. For the icons, make sure you have "mirror image" turned on in your displays preferences if you're on a Mac. Good luck.

I have an Epson LCD projector and when connected to the laptop the picture is yellow. Do you know what causes this?

Image projector is bluish

If you mean the image projected on the screen appears bluish - You might check the physical connection of the cable attached to your projector. Or the cable may have bent pins.

If you have access to another working Epson Projector, see if you get the same result using the same cable(s).

I have an epson projector model # EMP-51 and the sceen when you hook up to the computer has a pink tint to it. I have replaced th lamp and that did not resolve the problems. Any suggestions?

when you try the menu, does the pink still stay there. what happens if you try a video source with a dvd connected.
ie is this only a PC to projector pink issue.

Why is my projector suddenly projecting pink?

Is it entirely pink or does everything have a purplish tint? Check the settings. If you are connected using component or VGA, make sure that the unit is set to RGB rather than YPrPb.

Update this with what you find.

The projection is pink. How do I get it back to white?

try replacing the cable (damaged VGA cables often do that), or go to the settings menu and do a factory settings reset

Epson powerlite s4 projector is pink

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the red color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the red panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the red light in the image. This causes a nice red hue to the whole screen.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.

LP70+ projects a dark rose/pink tint upon the screen

The pink tint produced by my LP70+ projector was not a lamp issue but a connectivity issue. I swapped the old cable with a good known cable and the tint went away.

Projector gives off pink tint

when you have a tint on the projector its not a lamp issue, it is a connectivity issue you have to check the cables if they are connected firmly, or swap the cables with good known cables , if this doesn't help you have to send the projector to infocus repair center, since it is a DLP projector this may require engine /major repair

You have not set the port on the back of the projector settings.

Go into the projector menu and go into the IMAGE area. Somewhere in here you should be able to select computer.
